Peladn (‎WI-4) Mini PC

This low cost NUC style mini PC is available from Amazon.

Specification

  • CPU: Intel 11th Gen Celeron N5095 (up to 2.9GHz) 4-core
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2x 8GB SDRAM)
  • SSD: 512GB M2
  • Graphics: 4K HD (Dual HDMI Ports)
  • LAN: Gigabit Ethernet
  • WiFi: 2.4G/5G WiFi
  • Bluetooth: BT4.0
  • USB: USB3 (4x Ports)

Installation

Booting from the USB stick brings up the Plan 9 Console (GUI) after a few seconds.

  • bootargs - Return to accept default USB stick
  • user - Return to accept default 'glenda'
  • vgasize - Return to accept default '1024x768x16'
  • monitor - Return to accept default 'vesa'

Ignore 'bad opcode' error (about aux/vga).

  • mouseport - Return to accept default 'ps2'

Ignore 'i8042' error(s).

The Console will be replaced by the desktop with a terminal window.
