The NineStep project intends to further development of the Plan9 Operating System in these areas;
  * Consider whether suitable (and better than alternatives) for Embedded Devices (including networks of IoTs)
  * Add Device Drivers and Support for Embedded Devices (including considering user-space Modules/Drivers)
  * Add a Kernel Customisation feature to builds
  * Add a User-Land Customisation feature to builds
  * Consider whether suitable (and better than alternatives) for General Software Development (using tools that are currently in normal usage)
  * and more.
